“A Spirit of Hospitality" by P.T. Mammen

Today we will examine the ministry of hospitality from Genesis 18 how Abraham ministered to angels in a unique spirit.
Bible principle: Love each other, entertain strangers, and bless those who are in bondage.
Hebrews 13:1-3.    The apostle quotes the incident from Genesis 18 to validate his thought.
Caring church is a blessed church.

Please observe:
1. Abram discerned the approach of the strangers.

2. The reception they received
3. The invitation they received, humbly offered, modestly described, and piously enforced which was promptly accepted.

The preparation is a joint effort using existing resources and collective involvement.
Everyone in the family has a responsibility to present the welcome initiated by the patriarch.
Virtues expressed, Humility, personal sacrifice, honor extended and demonstrated by himself serving the strangers.

Jesus Himself practiced these exquisite Christian qualities.
How can our church offer this kind of hospitality?

Willingness to serve has a specific blessing attached to it.
A marvelous promise that affected human history came from this incident.

From our acts of hospitality, we receive personal blessing and blessings to generations to come. When everyone participates, the entire family is blessed.
A man from the land Ur becomes the father of a nation and a common ordinary girl becomes a princess. Let us validate our royal priesthood.
