"Surprise, He Can Speak! Part 2" by PT Mammen

Today we will continue on the Christmas theme.

Matthew presents Christmas as a “sign” and invites us to “behold” a mystery unfold. The genealogy account of Matthew and Luke traces the child born to Joseph and Mary belongs to the house of David and Abraham. Luke goes all the way to Adam to relate the universality of salvation reserved in Christ for all. It reveals to us the unity of all humans and the requirement for all to live in peace as one family. As evident in the family feud on earth wars between peoples is only to be viewed as a rebellion for a time.   Since we are children of faith we are connected to Christ spiritually. This is the only means of establishing world peace.

Salvation is predicated on God our Savior (Jah Oshea) = Jesus = the name given to the virgin’s child “Immanuel”. This perfect a salvation cannot be found any where else. No philosophy can duplicate this.

Perplexities of managing human transactional details are cleared by divine interventions providing the light to the path to those involved. The angelic messages are appropriate to the individual, in manner and time.

Human agencies of Christ’s redemption work have to be willing to respond to the call. Joseph, Mary, shepherds and the wise men, all fulfilled a purpose in accomplishing this process.

God has a unique mission of the kingdom for each of us to fulfill!
