Today we will look at the healing of the 10 lepers from Luke 17: 11-19.

Thanksgiving occurs when we acknowledge the fact that it shows where our heart is. When we are living a Spirit filled life thanksgiving is a spontaneous out flow from our heart. No external pressure is needed.

Leprosy is a type of sin.  - Outcast from society.

Ten were sharing a common misery.

Common struggle makes it easy to cry for mercy.

They listened to what Jesus said.

There was no question asked, no doubt expressed but acted on Jesus’ words. That is how faith works.

They were together in misery, but not together to give praise to God.

Collective expression of worship occurs in a community that shares the joy of spirit filled life.
