Today we will look at Thanksgiving as a tool to obtain courage and overcome common doubts.
Psalm 75 gives a reason to give thanks, the name of the Lord is always near, and His deeds of the past are recounted. He is faithful!

Because of the increase of immorality and evil in the world there is a probability for righteous saints to lose heart. Psalmist uses figurative expressions of pride and defiance to identify the spirit of rebellion in the lives of the proud.  God speaks clearly that in His own time He will deal with unrighteousness. Saints should not expect God to act according to their precepts.

A believer has only one responsibility and that is to put full faith in God and thankfully walk with Him.  Thanksgiving creates within us a dimension that is God directed and spontaneously we receive God’s strength created by faith in the God of all circumstances. Any adversity can be dealt with God on our side. No force on earth can come against such a believer since God is our defense.

The assurance of the presence of the Lord is the source of all courage for those who trust in Him We can trust in His goodness implicitly.
