When the spirit Moves by PT Mammen

The coming of the Holy Spirit in fulfillment of the promise of the Father as Jesus affirmed, changed lives radically. This ushered in the church age. From Adam to Pentecost the Spirit came sporadically and accomplished the mission He had intended. During the New Testament age He abides with the church. His mission is to prepare the church as bride for the marriage supper of the Lamb. Holy Spirit clarifies the message of salvation. The message is communicated in terms of the listeners so they understand who Christ is. When the gospel is preached under the unction of the Holy Spirit it produces conviction. Some hearers turn against the gospel while some believe and accept Jesus. Baptism of repentance was to accept Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah. The early church members believed, were baptized, devoted to the apostle’s teaching, shared communion, had meals together, shared every thing in common, prayed together, praised the Lord and waited for the coming of the Lord. In these busy times let us not neglect any aspect of a victorious Christian life.
